Every order is packed from refrigerated stock in an insulated foil liner with medical-grade Easi-Chill ice packs, rated by the manufacturer to keep the contents cool for up to 73 hours. We dispatch Monday to Thursday only, by tracked Royal Mail 24 or DPD, so the parcel never sits in a depot over a weekend.

No. The manufacturer's leaflet states the product keeps its quality for up to a week at room temperature, up to 25°C. The cold-chain packaging keeps it cool on the way, and a day or two in transit is well within that window.

Yes. The ice packs do their job on the journey, and finding them melted on arrival is normal, especially in summer. CDS22-formula is stable for up to 7 days at up to 25°C, so a melted pack does not mean the product has been affected. Put it straight in the fridge and carry on.

In the fridge, between 2 and 8°C, and keep it there. If you're travelling, it can be out of the fridge for up to a week at up to 25°C. Avoid leaving it anywhere hotter than that.

We check the forecast before dispatch. In a heatwave we may hold an order for a day or send it by courier rather than Royal Mail so it spends less time in transit. If we do, we'll email you.

Order by 1pm Monday to Thursday and it's dispatched the same day, chilled and tracked, by Royal Mail 24 or DPD. Most orders arrive the next working day. We don't dispatch Friday to Sunday. We deliver everywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland.

It's a quality date, not a safety date. The manufacturer guarantees the stated bacterial count up to that date when the product is kept refrigerated. Every box of CDS22-formula sachets we send has at least six months to its best-before date, and most have well over a year. If your sachets arrive with less than six months, email us and we'll replace them.

Yes. It's designed for daily use. The manufacturer's directions are one to two sachets a day for adults and children aged 7 and over, and up to half a sachet a day for children aged 3 to 6. Most customers take one sachet at the same time each day, which is the easiest routine to keep. Follow the directions on the pack and don't exceed the recommended daily amount.

Because it's live, it's concentrated, and it has to be kept cold. One sachet of CDS22-formula contains 450 billion live bacteria. A popular high-street probiotic, Optibac Every Day, contains 5 billion per capsule*, so one CDS22-formula serving carries 90 times the live bacteria.
